At The Children's Legal Practice Limited we have a specialist team of solicitors and support staff with substantial experience in dealing with legal issues relating to children;
Whilst members of our team are based at our Fareham office, all members of the team are willing to travel to other convenient locations.
 
Sarah Palmer

Sarah Palmer

Sarah is a director of The Children’s Legal Practice Ltd. Sarah has been a qualified solicitor since 1990. She has been a member of the Law Society’s Children panel since 1993 and is a member of the Solicitors Family Law Association and the Education Law Association. Sarah specialises in matters relating to children with a particular emphasis on education matters, care proceedings and matters involving the social services, adoption and child abduction.

Kirti Patel

Kirti Patel

Kirti Patel is a Director of The Children’s Legal Practice Limited. Kirti qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and has been a member of The Law Society’s Children’s Panel since 2000. She specialises in matters relating to children, in particular, care proceedings where she primarily represents children via their guardian or directly, if they are competent. Kirti also deals with adoption.


Sheila Bagoban

Sheila Bagoban

Sheila Bagoban is a solicitor within the team, having qualified in 2005. She also specialises in the law relating to children, including public and private law children act cases.


Support Staff

We have a team of dedicated support staff including our legal secretaries, Tracy Clarke and Linda Werrin.

Sheila Clements

Sheila Clements

Sheila Clements is an executive within the team. She has worked within the legal profession for over 20 years and has specialized in children matters for over 15 years, with a particular interest in Public Law children matters, including care proceedings and associated applications. She also deals with adoption matters, both in respect of children placed for adoption by a Local Authority and in step-parent applications, and with private law children matters.
